8 men, 4 women. It's new year's eve, 1949. The company is getting ready to usher in a new decade. Morty has a big role for the evening but his mind is on the news that his old flame, Jane Blaine, will co-star with Cary Grant in his next big picture. The producer's nephew, Norm, has to learn the ropes quickly if he wants to make it with the Radio Suspense Theatre Ensemble. But all of this pales when rumors that the station may be sold begin to circulate just before the first episode airs.

In the first mystery thriller, The Big Setup, hard-boiled detective, Sam Speigel, tries to make a comeback with the case of a lifetime. He's down on his luck and could really use a break. As he unravels the mystery, a simple kidnapping case begins to take on international implications. Is it his chance to make good or is it just a set up?

The second episode, Lover's Leap, follows the story of Joe Bellows, who becomes infatuated with a girl who comes to visit the isolated cape. His attraction becomes an obsession that leads to his inability to see the truth. Will he be able to come to grips with what happened out at Lover's Leap? Tune in the learn the shocking conclusion.
