Highlights
Round 3 - A disastrous race with a crash early on and many trips to the pits to fix damage... *shakes fist at wall of champions*
Round 5 - First street circuit and I seemed to be the only human driver to keep it out of the walls! Major concentration needed.
Round 6 - Epic dual for the win... check out the pass for the lead on lap 12...BIT TIGHT!?
Round 7 - I won... but in controversial circumstances! Check lap 4 to 8 for the battle for the lead, which ended badly.
Round 8 - The monsoon rains came to Interlagos... bad visibility and early accidents lead one of the hardest races of my life.
First Dirt Rally league I have ever taken part in and all in VR! Retired many of the rounds due to damage or accidents, never threatened the top 5. Bad weather for many of the stages made some of the near impossible.
First ever league race in Automobilista 2 using the advanced trainer cars. Baptism of fire into the game with cars with little downforce and the force feedback not giving the best feel. Missed rounds 7 to 9 because I had to get my wheel repaired!
Only took part in 2 races of the 6 race season and it was carnage! Inexperienced drivers pulling off moves beyond their skill level lead to frustrating races.
During lockdown, my local karting circuit held some e-sports events in iRacing. I took part in a few which were frustrating races. They contained many rookies with bad spatial awareness. Only 2 highlight videos remain, one is a race long battle at Daytona.... check out that finish!!
Hugely competitive series in relatively low powered cars. A particular highlight was the rounds at San Francisco... wow what a race! Not sure where my rounds 4 & 5 went though.
I admined this series and I tried to match the season to the real tracks from the GTO Championship (some replacements had to be made).
A competitive championship with friends, returning to rFactor 1 league after a long hiatus.
