In PATV, all students edit their packages after their group has preview day. During preview day, students should have a "finished" news package to air for the class. All students, leaders and our teacher share feedback on how the student could improve their package. All comments must be beneficial to improving the package and in no way should they be hurtful to the student. With that being said, the student must be able to take constructive criticism as well. After everyone suggests the edits that should be made to the presented news package, the student then goes back to work and makes the corrections.
In Padua360, students peer edit and have leader edits on their stories. After students write a rough draft, they have other students peer edit. During my time in Padua360, I've edited multiple papers covering different subjects that require unique formats. After peer edits are made, students make the corrections, then submit their peer edited paper to their leader. The leader then makes final edits on the paper and returns it to the student to make final corrections. Students make their leader's edits then submit their story to Flo.
