Hi, my name is Rachel Alexander and I am a fourth-year occupational therapy student, minoring in assistive technology.
Why OT?
When I was around 6 years old I attended occupational therapy where I worked with Ms. Megan, a superhero. At the time, I could not believe she got to ride scooters, color, and play all day. I knew I wanted to be just like her. Since then, I cannot imagine doing anything else and am so excited to help others become independent.
Who am I?
I think it is so important to meet people where they are and to slow down and enjoy every moment. Helping others is something I am passionate about and I support them best by being outgoing, encouraging, and positive. As a worker/student, I am organized, hardworking, and flexible.
