As I approach the completion of my undergraduate degree, I find it rewarding to reflect on the academic journey that has shaped my time at UT. Over the years, I have gained valuable knowledge and experiences that have strengthened my pursuit of Biology, and I am proud to have earned Honors cords for the past three years.
One of the most impactful courses I have taken is MBS 320, where I now serve as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. This role has deepened my understanding of the subject matter while allowing me to support fellow students in appreciating the course. I look forward to completing my degree in Biology, complemented by a Pre-Health Professions Certificate, and to applying the skills I have developed toward my future goals.
Reflecting on letters of recommendation, these letters provide external validation of my skills, character, and dedication, offering insights from mentors who have witnessed my growth and commitment firsthand. To ensure strong and diverse support, I plan to ask my undergraduate professor that I work as a UGCA for, a physician I have shadowed, and a PA I have also shadowed for letters of recommendation. These varied perspectives will highlight different facets of my readiness and passion for the PA profession.
