My interest in entrepreneurship rose out of seeking an opportunity to familiarize myself with tools to understand the market as well as grow successful ventures and businesses based in the growing capabilities of technology and bounded by innovation and creativity.
I recently enrolled in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minor for the structured hands-on learning approach. In addition to the core classes, I plan to take advantage of the Entrepreneurship speaker series, idea competition, as well as gaining experience in the real world through an internship. Being that I do not have prior experience in the field, I am more inspired to overcome the challenges that will come as I am confident in my capacity as an Engineer to foster and create systems of advantageous growth when faced with a challenge.
A minor in entrepreneurship completes my GCSP requirement as it amounts to about five credits per semester for three semesters. Altogether, my time commitment breaks down to five hours per credit for ten weeks of a semester, which sums up to seven hundred and fifty hours (750hr)
