I'm working on a longer form piece about this new research and the need to bolster tenancy protections for queer, trans, takataapui and rainbow people, as well as the need for further research in these areas.

Queer Housing Network New Zealand currently has 20 city groups set up for Queer New Zealanders to advertise for flat mates.
A prototype network of groups for Queer people to look for queer friendly accommodation around New Zealand. This is a Queer online safe space. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

A group for Transgender and other rainbow people in Aotearoa NZ who are looking for houses or housemates, and trans/rainbow-friendly houses offering rooms.
Please remember that this is a space for all queer, trans, takatāpui, and rainbow people. Transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, racism, oppressive attitudes toward sex workers or unemployed people or mental health etc is not welcome.
