TODAY! The Pinal County Attorney is going to the state capitol to see if he can gain some traction on his very probably illegal deal with ICE. Click here for the Channel 12 article. Click the link below to find your state legislator. Each of us has 2 Representatives and one Senator. Call or email them today. We do not want anyone in our state to sign an agreement with ICE using the 287(g) agreement. This agreement is already causing problems in Pinal County. I have personally spoken with people on job sites who say they can't get people to come to work or they have been taken from job sites. One supervisor warned us that his billion-dollar home-building boss is not happy that they are missing deadlines due to worker shortages. It won't be long before they file a class-action lawsuit against our county. Should they win, the people who will pay the $$ out will be the taxpayers of our county! Tell our lawmakers we don't want to pay that bill! https://www.azleg.gov/findmylegislator/

Coming up: Drive for Mary Gloria Foundation. Right now, we are collecting general cleaning, hygeine, and non perishable food items. If you have very gently used clothing, we can take that. They are working on a list for us with an expected delivery to the families on MLK day (Jan 19)! Items can be dropped off when we do our Tuesday morning rush hours at Gantzel and Combs or any other event we host.

(Indivisible is a non-partisan group; however, many want to join in with political groups in our area.)
Our group agrees with these five principles:
Remake our democracy. We recognize our democracy was rigged from the start in favor of the white and wealthy. We actively work to realize a shared vision of a real democracy — of, by, and for the people.
Embrace progressive values. We model inclusion, respect, and fairness in all of our actions.
Coordinate and collaborate. We partner with other Indivisible groups on advocacy, elections, and national Indivisible campaigns.
Build a strong and strategic movement. We focus our efforts to maximize our impact, winning progressive policy victories and taking power at the local, state, and federal levels.
Nonviolent actions and events. All events and actions will be nonviolent.
