Designed and fabricated a linear sliding “flag” mechanism, which mounts onto flywheel, that protrudes at 1600 RPM and retracts at 1300 RPM
Performed force analysis and calculations to select optimum slider mass, rubber bands, compression spring, and slider profile
Iterated design and tuned mechanism to achieve performance margin of error of +/- 25 RPM
