Power

When a crane lifts a really heavy crate, something is needed to lift it up. This energy that is given to it is called power.

• The more powerful an appliance is, the faster it will transfer energy
• Power=energy transferred/time taken for transfer
• Like energy, power also has wasted and useful. The formula is exactly the same as effiency.
• Efficiency=useful power out/total power in
• Power wasted= total amount of power in-useful power.
