A roundtable is an opportunity for a small group of people to discuss a specific topic. Each participant shares their input and all contribute collaboratively to the discussion, with a facilitator to keep things on track.
These events are ideal for anyone who would like regular opportunities to discuss their research with the same small group over several weeks. You will be able to present your work, describe challenges and dilemmas, and, together, we will formulate strategies and solutions. Regular meetings help build a community of practice and help participants become familiar with each other's work.
These sessions supplement, rather than replace, the formal supervision or advising processes at your institution. Ideal for those without a geographically local community of IPA researchers.
