We offer one to one video consultations to help tackle challenges occurring at any stage of your research. This is an opportunity to have an expert provide specific, tailored feedback and guidance. This is intended to supplement, not replace, your formal supervision or advising process at your institution.

Prices:

• One-hour call: $75* (around £60 depending on current exchange rate)

Preparation pricing

Note, we revised pricing in April 2026 to better reflect the service we provide. This pricing reflects the time required to thoroughly review and prepare to discuss your work.

• We charge $25 (around £20) for every 1,000 words you'd like us to review.

We're happy to discuss your specific needs and the work to be reviewed before finalising pricing. Please include your queries and aims when booking your session, and I will contact you to agree on your requirements and pricing.

*Note that Elly is located in the US, and payments are billed in USD (US dollars)

Terms:

• You will be invoiced after making your reservation to confirm

• You can choose not to send us materials, but that may make the time we spend with you less effective

• You may cancel and receive a refund (less processing charges) up to 48 hours in advance

• If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours in advance, we will refund half your payment (as we will already have spent time preparing)

• We do not refund if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, as we will have spent time preparing and set aside time for you
