See below for the different registration options and costs.
Registration will close on: 8th December 2025 at 12pm (midday). This is to allow enough time for catering to be finalised (note that Early Bird registration closes on 30th November 2025).
Registration details
Early Bird reduced registration rates are available until 30th November 2025, with a concessionary rate available (for students, unwaged or retired from employment), and discounted rates for QRA members.
To become a member of the QRA and enjoy a multitude of benefits, including reduced registration fees for this ADM, go to the QRA website. The QRA membership fee is £30 per year for full membership, £15 per year for students, and £15 per year for unwaged or retired from employment.
The Full Conference package registration fee covers admission to the main oral and poster sessions, early- and mid-career workshops, keynote presentations, JQS 40th Anniversary Celebration, Annual General Meeting and prize giving, all coffee breaks, all lunches and the icebreaker event on Monday evening.
The Day Conference registration fee covers admission to the main oral and poster sessions, early- and mid-career workshops (Monday only), keynote presentations (Monday and Tuesday only), JQS 40th Anniversary Celebration (Tuesday only), Annual General Meeting and prize giving (Tuesday only), coffee breaks, and lunch on that day only.
The conference dinner and fieldtrip are optional and have additional fees.
During registration, you can also sign up for our free early-career and mid-career workshops on Monday 5th January.
EDI questionnaire
We encourage you to complete the QRA EDI questionnaire during registration. A copy of the questionnaire is also available here.
The data from this short questionnaire will help the QRA to understand the characteristics of those who attend its meetings and to identify action points for the future.
Online attendance
The 2026 Annual Discussion Meeting is organised as an in-person event at the University of Brighton. Oral presentations should, where possible, be given in-person by the lead author or a co-author of the work.
The online-only registration package enables attendees to watch and ask questions at the pre-conference workshops, JQS 40th Anniversary Celebration, Annual General Meeting and prize giving, keynote presentations, oral presentations and EDI discussion session. If their abstract is allocated an oral presentation, online-only attendees will also be able to provide a pre-recorded presentation to be shown at the conference, and to engage live with audience members following their presentation.
Online-only attendance excludes delivering a poster presentation, participating in the poster sessions and coffee breaks/lunches, and participation in the icebreaker event, conference dinner and field trip.
