Black History Month

This month celebrates Black History Month and brings together a collection of resources that remember the historical and contemporary struggles of Black and African-American people. This month was made possible thanks to support from Staff, Students, the Student's Union and the Equality and Diversity Group.

Below is the essential reading list which outlines the books recommended by various people and departments at Queen Mary. It summaries the books which we felt were most important to Black History Month. By publishing a digital reading list, which can be downloaded, you can find the books within the library at anytime in the future, making it easier to explore this months theme at your leisure.
