The meeting is free to all faculty and staff at QMo member schools.
In the summer of 2021, a group of thirteen Missouri QM schools banded together to form the Quality Matters Missouri System, or QMo for short. During that inaugural year, our goal was to acquaint more faculty and staff with the benefits Quality Matters brings to our work for the sake of our students.Â
Specifically, we decided on the following goals/objectives for this system:
We will collaborate on professional development so that more people are trained in principles and practices of high quality course design.
We will highlight QM resources available to all members.
We will collaborate on issues regarding online instruction.
We will promote formal and informal course reviews to improve our courses.
We will support newer QM schools so they can take full advantage of QM resources and practices.
We will host an annual QMo System conference starting in year two.
If you are interested in giving a 10-minute presentation on ways you've been successful in humanizing and promoting belonging and engagement in your online courses, please submit a proposal here. The deadline to submit is November 14 and those chosen will be notified by December 5.
