Listen to my interview with LaFawn Berry:
Overview
As our science standards evolve into a three dimensional learning model QC is prepared to provide the resources to our teachers and students. Within the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), there are three distinct and equally important dimensions to learning science. These dimensions are combined to form each standard—or performance expectation—and each dimension works with the other two to help students build a cohesive understanding of science over time. The following resources are available to support STEM instruction. Teachers can check out science kits that support the Mystery Science curriculum based on the standard they are working with. LaFawn in available to support teachers with kits that require more assistance. Teachers can also check out VR glasses. The VR glasses can be checked out by any grade level any content area to provide a learning experience unlike what we could bring in a traditional classroom. Further, there are several robots that can be utilized in a variety of ways. If you are interested in any of these resources please reach out to LaFawn Berry.
