If there is something wrong with the site itself and you would like to contribute to improving then you may submit an application.
Some people may given precedence over others if previous arrangements have been made already and not everyone who applies will be accepted
Housekeeping:
Video transcripts: sometimes useful videos are taken down or have poor audio so it's important that we make sure this content is still available in some form
Tutoring - the game is quickly growing so being a figure head of guidance for new players is a must for a community to grow properly. Respect for all people is of course a given and bullying will not be tolerated at all.
Mistakes - sometimes mistakes will be made on this site so it's important that they are corrected as soon as possible so pointing out grammar issues or even video mistakes is always appreciated.
Guides:
For those who want to contribute keep this in mind when creating/editing Guides: no instructional video, tutorial, info graphic, is perfect; in fact some actually suck these guides should aim to suck less. If you're curious about where this attitude comes from read this for the origin of the idea.
The Tips & Tricks page is meant to reach as many skill levels as possible, so if you have a knack for explaining things to new players, intermediate, or even want to throw in the math/code involved you definitely can.
Should any new Guides be suggested they should have a text version available if there is a video. The text version doesn't need to be a transcript just be good enough where the main idea is present.
Guide creation[videos/images] - it's important that we make sure everyone is available to help everyone else in case something needs to be fixed/patched in a hurry so for that reason if you make a video for the site it would be extremely helpful if you could also provide any project files used to create that video/image.
Competition:
At some point setting up tournaments or leagues would be desired so if you have any idea how to setup a league/tournament or are good at scheduling things then your help would be greatly appreciated.
There are some things that need to be worked out before tournaments become regular again:
Ruleset - this includes things like map pool but also whether or not there should be some special rules for these events
Scheduling - this is especially true if we are dealing with multiple regions at once
Leagues - things like signups need a reliable method for being handled as well as fair scheduling between teams and players and other accommodations which may need to be made at some point.
