PROVERB
1. Out of the frying pan into the fire.
meaning: from a bad situation to one that is worse.
2. There's no smoke without fire.
meaning: when someone says someone else did something bad, they usually have a reason for it.
3. Fighting fire with fire.
meaning: to fight against an opponent by using the same methods/weapons that the opponent uses.
4. Fire is a good servant, but a bad master.
meaning: you must be careful to use fire wisely and under control so that it will not hurt you.
5. Don't start a fire you can't put out.
meaning: don't get involved or start something if you can't handle the consequences.
LETTER
Figurative language
When you describe something by comparing it to something else.

Synonyms
A word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase in the same language.

POEM

Antithesis
It involves the bringing out of a contrast in the ideas by an obvious contrast in the words, clauses, or sentences.
Example: "To err is human; to forgive divine."
"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
Alliteration
The occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of closely connected words.
Example: "Betty Botter bought some butter."
"I need not your needs. They're needless to me."
