In our Visual Arts program, students don't just create—they connect. As they draw, grid and measure, they apply geometry. Building sculptures engages engineering principles, and mixing colors reveals the physics of light. By exploring styles from classical to contemporary, they learn history, and creating illustrations fosters an understanding of literature. Art is where students strengthen core academic skills while solving complex visual problems in creative ways. We invite you to explore the power of art with us!
In the Art Lab, young artists explore and experiment with ideas, materials, tools and styles. Lessons are sequential and beginning units are usually based on one broad media type. Grade levels will develop essential knowledge, hands-on skills and artful mindfulness through: Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, Printmaking & Digital art making.
