For our final action,we give tips to women in our neighborhoods, they told us what was wrong with their jobs and happily we helped them. To do that, we used our evidence of interviews to analyze what exactly was going on during their job and understand the perspectives of the people that participated in the issue. To help them combat this, we gave them tips and recommendations of actions to stand up to their right to human dignity, stop the issue, and continue doing their work without any problem.

Claudia is a 41 year old woman and works in an office as a furniture designer. Some days ago, Claudia went to propose an idea for a table design and they declined the idea just because of the reason that they thought a man would be more specialized for the job of designing this table. Samuel knew her , so he went to her house in my neighborhood to ask her if she needed any tips for solving this issue ,and at the end she wrote thanking because we have helped her to achieve her goal.

1) Write to the people that declined your idea standing up for yourself by saying that your idea could be good too and should not be graded based on your gender.

2) If they still refuse, go to a court to tell them what is going on and to claim your right to express ideas and to your dignity as a woman working like anybody else.

3) Make sure to express to the court that this issue is an inequality based on gender and that you deserve to feel safe to express your ideas as a woman in your job.

ੈ✩‧₊˚ The Case of Patricia Romero ੈ✩‧₊˚

Patricia is a woman that works as a lawyer to any person in need of her service. When she came to attend a customer that needed a lawyer, that customer said that he will not be represented by a woman and he need to change her for an other lawyer that has to be a man and not a woman. Patricia lost her opportunity to help someone just because of her gender and because Sarah knew her, she came to ask if she needed any tips and at the end she told us she had earned her dignity back as a woman that works as a lawyer like any other person.

1) Tell the customer respectfully that you are also a good and qualified woman for being a lawyer and serve him.

2) Complain to your manager and tell him/her to talk to the customer and find a solution .

3) After reasoning, prove the customer that he is wrong by showing your skills as a lawyer for him to know that women also can serve as good lawyers.

Marta is a woman that works as an architect for designing homes and sometime helps in the construction of others ideas. Normally, her partners make small jokes about how women almost never participate in these and that it is not normal, but it is not that much of a joke for Marta. Ana Lucia knew her and came to help her with some tips to avoid this and at the end, her right to be treated the same as her male co-workers have been taken seriously.

1) Make sure to stand up for yourself respectfully to the people that are bothering you for them to take you seriously.

2) Comunicate yourself with the manager of your job to talk to the employes bothering you.

3) If the manager does not do anything, get a lawer or any well known friend to get some help from organizations that defend human rights.
