The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) is a division of the American Library Association (ALA). AASL is the only national professional membership organization focused on school librarians and the school library community. Membership in AASL supports all the work that is done to impact student learning through the profession. Virginia Association of School Librarians (VAASL) Information from the VAASL Website: "VAASL is a community of professionals dedicated to providing library services for all students in Virginia. Members of VAASL receive discounted registration for VAASL Annual and Spring Conferences; a complimentary digital copy of our publication, the VAASL Voice; and our member-to-member network, which includes discussion forums, personal member circles, and a listserv only available to VAASL members."
