The pandemic is luring lots of folks to gardening again this year and orders have been pouring into seed companies. Couple the increase in seed orders with the challenges of social distancing at seed companies, and you end up with delays and sold-out items. So, if you haven't placed your seed orders yet, you might consider doing it soon!

Because HMS is having difficulty obtaining some of their stock from their seed vendors. This affects turn-around time.
Currently, their turn-around time is 10 days from ordering. If they're not sure they can obtain an item from their vendors, they'll list it as out of stock. If they eventually get in in, they'll change it on their website, so you'll have to check back often. Read more . . .
Johnny's Seeds is only accepting orders from commercial customers and farmers. BUT, they're going to open ordering up to home gardeners on Wednesday, March 3rd and Thursday, March 4th. Only two days, so hurry! Read more . . .

Here's another seed company that offers only open-pollinated seeds with lots of interesting varieties. They're a northwestern company, but most of their selection is adaptable to New England.
