Dean Vergara is a graduate of Master's in Educational Management with undergraduate degree in Bachelor in Tourism from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She has been serving the university for 18 years and specializes in the courses Cruise Tourism, Macro Tourism, Micro Tourism, Applied Business Tools, and Technologies in Tourism. Her research interest are in the areas of Community Based Tourism, Curriculum and Instruction, Internship. Prior to becoming the dean, she also served as the chairperson in Tourism and Transportation Management Department in the undergraduate program including the PUP Open University System.
Assoc. Prof. Yolanda T. Montances

Asso. Prof. Yolanda T. Montances is a graduate of Master in Educational Management with undergraduate degree in Bachelor in Tourism. She specializes in the courses MICE, Heritage Tourism, Global Culture and Tourism Geography, Tourism Service Encounter, Macro Perspective in Tourism. Her research interests are in the fields of Heritage and Culture, Sustainable Tourism and Ecotourism. In her 33 years of teaching, she always served as coach in competitions won by BSTM students both in the national and international level.

Asso. Prof. Luzviminda O. Tugade is Bachelor in Tourism and Master in Educational Management graduate from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with 36 units earned towards the degree Doctor in Educational Management. Serving the university for 33 years, she specializes in the courses Research, MICE, Tour Guiding & Escorting, Tourism Planning and Development, Tourism Entrepreneurship, Service Quality Management in Tourism, Multi-cultural Diversity in Tourism and Hospitality. Her research interests are in the fields of Heritage and Culture, Curriculum and Instruction, Internship, Community Based Tourism, Sustainable Tourism. As a research enthusiast, she presented papers in both national and international research conferences and published her research works in reputable journals with several research citations.
Dr. Rock Bryan Matias

Asst. Prof. Rock Bryan B. Matias is a Doctor in Business Administration, Master in Business Administration with undergraduate degree in Bachelor in Transportation: Management. He started as a part-time faculty member in PUP and his commitment and passion for teaching and research made him to be included in the roster of full-time faculty members in the Tourism and Transportation Management Department. He specializes in the courses Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Economics, Service Marketing, and Tourism and Transportation Research. His research interests are in the field of Supply Chain and Logistics, General Business, International Trade Marketing.
