From its beginning in 2000 the History Group has maintained a programme of monthly talks from guest speakers on a host of local history topics.
Visits to local places of interest also feature in the group’s programme.
The group manages an archive available to members of local historical documents and photographs that have been donated by local people.
The local history group is involved in encouraging research into the history of Cheshire, and spreading the enjoyment of knowing about it, especially as it applies to the parish of Pulford and Poulton. This website gives an introduction to this history from the earliest days to the present as well as providing information about our current activities.
Meetings are held in Pulford Village Hall starting at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated.
