Coming Up
Dusty's Holiday Shoppe
The Holiday Shoppe is a fun event our students look forward to each year! Your children can practice valuable skills like budgeting, paying for items and receiving change. Most importantly, we hope your child comes away with a sense of pride after shopping independently and a renewed focused on giving during this season.
Please look for the budget envelopes coming home next week. Your child's teacher will notify you which day their class is shopping - if your child wants to participate, they will need their completed envelope with them.
Parent volunteers are needed to help the Holiday Shoppe be successful! Please consider signing up here.
The North Pole @ Pueblo
The North Pole is coming to Pueblo on Friday, December 22! Coach Caruos and Coach Young will be taking the students through stations in a fun and active way to celebrate the season and usher in winter break! Please consider helping them out by signing up for a volunteer shift here.
Winter Break
The last day of school before Holiday Break begins is on Friday, December 22nd. School will be closed on Monday, December 25th thru Friday, January 5th.
Arizona Tax Credit
Did you know that Arizona law allows taxpayers to receive a dollar for dollar tax credit of up to $200 for individual filers and up to $400 for married filers for contributions made to SUSD schools? You can claim the tax credit when filing your Arizona State Income Tax return. Pueblo uses these funds for programs and items such as funding for the Dusty Devil Singers, field trips, nurse supplies and tutoring. Learn more here!
