Read-a-Thon
Read-a-Thon is happening now thru October 8th!
It's time for Pueblo Elementary's Read-a-Thon!
Read-a-thon promises to be a fun, exciting journey. We have a new exciting addition this year: book raffles for those participating! The winning children will get to bring home a brand new book! We will do drawings throughout the 4-week event. Winners will be announced by Mrs. Hummon during the morning announcements.
We know you have limited time but want the best education for your child. That’s why we hope everyone will activate their reader's account as soon as possible. This is where you can record and view your reader's progress.
We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on Read-A-Thon Signup and following the simple instructions.
Both Spanish and English Reading is encouraged for the Read-a-thon.
If you want your business logo to show up as a sponsor contact mrs.flory@gmail.com
If you choose, you can just log reading minutes (and not solicit funds).
Prizes will be books that are raffled throughout the read-a-thon (students will be entered into a raffle based on a criteria (most minutes read, sign up, people who got donations, etc...more to come).
If you are interested in donating books for the prize raffle you can drop those off in the office.
Winning classes (most minutes read and most funds raised) will receive special prizes.
PreK and Kinder families: you can log minutes reading to your child.

Thank you to the more than 60 of you that came out for Pueblo Night at Phoenix Rising on Saturday. It was a blast!!! Such great community building, fun dads vs kids game, and what an amazing comeback by Phoenix down one player!
