Pueblo Central High School Foundation Scholarships

One of the Pueblo Central High School Foundation’s (PCHSF) principle roles is to help provide graduates the opportunity to further their education beyond the hallowed halls of Central High School.

Therefore, the Pueblo Central High School Foundation is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to qualified students graduating from Central High School. 

Students seeking to obtain an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from any two- or four-year accredited college/university OR an associate’s degree, professional license/certificate from a two-year state college, technical/trade school, or professional licensure/certificate program may apply for theses scholarships. 

This one-time scholarship is awarded during a single academic year following graduation from Central High School.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Only Central High School students who are graduating during the 2022-2023 academic school year are eligible to apply for a scholarship. This includes seniors graduating in May, seniors who graduated during 1st semester, and juniors who are graduating a year early.

Qualified applicants MUST SUBMIT AND COMPLETE ALL of the items below and upload into the Google Form by the deadline FRIDAY, APRIL 21, 2023 BY 5:00 P.M. Failure to meet the deadline will result in disqualification of application.

• Complete Foundation Scholarship Application

• Verification Form by student, parent/guardian, counselor, and principal 

• Complete resume 

• Copy of high school transcript 

• Copy of acceptance letter from an accredited two- or four-year college or university OR verification of acceptance to an accredited two-year state college, technical/trade school, or professional licensure/certificate program

• TWO letters of recommendation: one must be from a Central staff member. Recommendation letters:

  • • CANNOT be from a family member or a currently seated Pueblo Central High School Foundation board member

    • should describe the how the applicant demonstrates characteristics of a True Centralite
