Scholarship Application Tips
Use the following tips to help you complete your application process and written responses:
Type ALL responses in the application making sure everything is accurate, spaced neatly, and spelled correctly.
SAVE the application to your device after filling it out.
Proofread scholarship application with an adult to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completion.
Double-check required signatures and that ALL additional paperwork is included (i.e., official transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.).
When writing your ESSAY, think about including information that tells us how your accomplishments stand out from every other Wildcat. This can include:
any challenges you may have overcome in order to be successful.
how you may helped others through difficult situations (i.e., during the pandemic, the loss of a loved one, unemployment, etc.).
When writing your SHORT RESPONSE, think about examples that demonstrate how you have shown the characteristics and qualities of a TRUE CENTRALITE.
Type your application essay and short response in a Google Doc first to ensure correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation and that the responses are saved; then copy and paste it in the application.
Read the writing prompts! Proofread, revise, edit application written responses to ensure prompt requirements have been met and writing is error free.
