Every great idea deserves the resources to make it happen. We believe that empowering our teachers means empowering our students. Our Teacher Microgrant Program exists to bridge the gap between classroom needs and available resources, ensuring every educator has the tools to inspire and educate our children.
Through generous community support and dedicated fundraising efforts, Partners in Education is proud to offer grants that make a real difference in daily learning experiences. From 3D printers and library books to art supplies and technology upgrades, we're committed to funding projects that enhance education for all students.

Grant Request Timelines
Spring 2026 Grants
Applications open on February 18 and close on February 28.
Items will be shipped directly to the school with planned arrival in March or April 2026.
Q: How much can I request? A. Grant amounts for one teacher working with one classroom of students usually range from $10 - $150. However, we will consider all requested amounts based on student impact and school principal support.
Q: Can I apply for fall and spring funds in the same year? A. Yes, but priority will be given to teachers that have not yet been funded for that year.
Q: If I make a request for an entire grade level or a school-wide request, can I submit a second request just for my classroom as well? A. Absolutely. We love to see requests with a big impact (lots of students), but also want to fill individual classroom needs.
Q. Do I have to purchase the items myself? A. No, the Partners in Education Board will make the purchases and send them directly to your school location, marked with your name.
Q: Can substitute teachers or student teachers apply? A: Only full-time and part-time contracted employees are eligible. Student teachers and long-term substitutes should work with their supervising teacher to submit a joint application.
Q: Can I acknowledge Partners in Education in my classroom? A: Yes! We encourage recognition of Partners in Education support through signs, newsletters, or project displays. This helps build teacher awareness of the program and parents/community support.
Q: Where does this funding come from? A: Partners in Education holds and distributes the funding for the microgrants, however, the funding comes directly from fundraising efforts put forth by student families and the community.
Q: Are there certain times of year when funding is more available? A: We budget equal funds for both the fall and spring grant requests.
Q. If I do not receive my items the first time I apply, can I apply with the same request a second time? A. Absolutely! Feel free to request the same items again. We also understand that some items are non-reusable, like pencils, paper, folder, etc., need to be purchased more than once.
Q: What if I leave the school? A: You must complete an inventory of all items purchased through the Partners in Education microgrant program and ensure proper handover to your replacement or school principal. All items remain school property.
Q. In lieu of requesting classroom supplies, can I request funding to carry out an education project? A. Yes! Great examples of this might include funding to launch an after-school club, translation costs of educational materials, or decorations or display materials for a school-wide event.
Q. Can I partner with an organization, local business, or community members to receive funding for a school project? A. For sure! While all funds must go towards students and PT schools directly, having parent and/or community involvement in your project is encouraged and may strengthen your application. Be sure to mention volunteer support in your application.
Q. The application form allows space to request 5 items. What if I want to request more? A. Requesting more is just fine- you can submit a 2nd (or 3rd) application if you'd like. However, submit your items in priority order just in case we are unable to fill all item requests.
