P-T Partners in Education is a collective group of parents, family members, teachers, staff, and community members dedicated to helping Perkins-Tryon students become resourceful scholars, responsible community members, and respectful young citizens.
We actively raise funds and volunteer to best support our classrooms, enrich every-day learning experiences, and advance educational opportunities.
Our goal is to support Perkins-Tryon Schools and its students through fundraising, volunteerism, and events that build community and support student success.
Quarterly Meetings held in the Elementary School Cafeteria
We plan, organize, and/or volunteer at events throughout the year such as, PTES/PTIS Fall Fundraiser, Book Fair, Teacher Appreciation Week, Parent-Teacher Meals, and more!

Elisa Taff
President
Elisa is a Perkins-Tryon alumni with two children currently attending the district. She has served as a board member for years and this is her first year as president! Elisa is currently a stay-at-home mom with two twin girls! Her favorite thing about Partners in Education is having the ability to have a positive impact on her children at school.
Vice President
Krista is beginning her first year on the PT Partners in Education Board. She joined the board for the opportunity to meet more parents, teachers and students while making a positive impact on their school experience. She has two children attending PT Schools and is passionate about supporting the community they are growing up in. Outside of school activities, Krista works as a Staff Accountant at the casino.
Secretary
Sarah has three children that attend PT Schools and this will be her 2nd year serving on the Partners in Education board. Sarah works for a non-profit where she works to make education opportunities transparent and accessible, so people can land thier dream jobs. Her favorite thing about Partners in Education has been building relationships with other parents and families and supporting education in the district and throughout the state.
Kailee Biswell
Treasurer
Kailee is currently serving her second term as Treasurer on the PT Partners in Education board. Kailee has one child attending PT public schools. She values the opportunity to contribute the success of all district schools and enjoys building connections with fellow parents, educators and community members. Kailee works for ONEOK, Inc as a Manager of Admin Services and Project Controls.
