The Concept
Spaceship: The Journey is a multiplayer strategy card game of trust, deception, and teamwork. Players take on secret roles as crew members, traitors, or a red herring aboard a spaceship. The crew must work together to complete the mission, while traitors sabotage and the red herring disrupts progress. With hidden agendas and high-stakes decisions, Spaceship delivers an engaging and suspenseful gameplay experience.
Game Rule & How To Play
Game Setup
Role Assignment: Players draw a Faction Pack and play cards
Player Limit: 6-10 players
Captain Rotation: The Captain rotates each turn
Roles and Objectives
Crew Members (3-6): Collaborate to maintain supplies and reach the destination.
Traitors (2-3): Sabotage the mission by damaging the ship or delaying progress.
Red Herring (1): Subtly delays the journey, keeping supplies intact but stalling the mission.
1. Draw Cards
At the start, each player draws five play cards.
2. Event Roll
The Captain rolls a D12 to determine the day’s event.
3. Supply Management
Captain selects 2-3 crew members to secretly contribute play cards (Supply, Sabotage, or Delay) for daily needs.
4. Card Reveal
Cards are shuffled and revealed to determine if the requirements are met, after which players analyze the revealed cards to deduce roles. The total supplies are then updated by calculating the starting supplies plus contributed supply cards, minus Alien cards and a daily deduction of 2.
5. Discussion and Accusation
Players have 1 minute to discuss, deduce, and accuse potential saboteurs. But roles remain hidden until game end.
How To Win
Crew: Reach the destination before supplies runs out.
Traitors: Deplete the ship’s Supplies to prevent arrival.
Red Herring: Distract the Crew and Reach the destination.
No Role Revealing: Roles remain hidden until the game ends.
Limited Missions: No player can be chosen for supply missions more than twice in a row.
Concealed Actions: All actions are submitted face down, with results revealed by the Captain to keep suspense high.
