Milestone 1.3: Requirements
Professional Practices:
Shall be easy to use with an understandable interface
Shall utilize a sensible and medically accurate metric of assessing stress using the device
Shall have a small, ergonomic form factor for unobtrusiveness in a medical evaluative setting
Ethical Responsibilities:
Shall keep data acquired confidential
Shall have a help desk to report problems
Shall provide mental aid resources for drastic conditions
Milestone 1.4: Needs-Requirements Mapping
Shall have an intuitive design in user interface and physical hardware for ease of use
Shall require a curated metric showing a relationship between brain activity and the magnitude of stress
Shall recognize stress using hardware and create an association to particular methods of therapy that will lower stress level
Shall store read data locally in order to satisfy the need for confidentiality and ethics
Shall meet required standards to be used in a medical evaluative setting as well as permissions for the necessary code libraries for the function of the BCI
