There will be thirteen (13) quizzes during the semester. Quizzes will be comprised of multiple choice, multiple response, matching and true/false questions. Questions will be taken from class lectures, guest presentations, readings (text and articles), videos, and material presented in class. After quiz one, some questions each week will be from the previous chapters information.
So, for Quiz 1, roughly half the questions will be based on Chapter One, the other half of the questions will be based on Chapter Two reading.
Quizzes will typically be ten questions and you will have ten minutes from the start of class to complete them. If you are late, you will get less time. If you arrive after the quiz is completed, you will receive a 0. There are days with shorter quizzes and less time to complete. The two lowest quiz scores will be dropped. This means, if you miss class for ANY (Covid, work, illness, broken car, children, parking, bad day) reason, you will be allowed to miss two quizzes with no impact on your grade.
