Evaluations

Our pediatric residency program utilizes a dual-approach evaluation framework, conducted quarterly. Every 1st and 3rd quarter, residents partner with mentorship faculty for direct observation in a chosen skill, such as data gathering or oral presentation. This includes real-time verbal feedback and a written competency evaluation via New Innovations. The 2nd and 4th quarters shift to a broader perspective, with faculty collaborating to discuss each resident, culminating in a comprehensive, competency-based evaluation submitted by their primary faculty member.
