ASPRS Membership
What is ASPRS?
Founded in 1934, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is a scientific association serving more than 7,000 professionals worldwide. Our mission is to promote the ethical application of active and passive sensors, the disciplines of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems, and other supporting geospatial technologies; to advance the understanding of the government, academia, and private enterprise.
ASPRS at PSU
GIS Club is the Portland State University (PSU) student chapter of ASPRS. Our chapter is run entirely by student officers who work closely with a faculty advisor to deliver quality events and learning opportunities to student members and the PSU community at large. We are affiliated with the Columbia River Region ASPRS.
You can now join ASPRS at any time by submitting your information on the ASPRS Join Now webpage. PSU ASPRS is part of the Cascadia Region, as you may be asked this on the application.
