Miss computer lab 475? Wish you could ask your fellow classmates homework questions or workshop project ideas? Then stop by our weekly online Zoom sessions! They happen twice a week and are open for an hour each.

Led by Community GIS specialist Randy Morris and professor David Banis alongside GIS Club student volunteers, these GIS homework help sessions provide a casual and friendly environment where we'll help answer your questions on GIS-related homework, projects, software (ArcGIS, etc), and beyond. 

This is a casual environment, so feel free to pop in and out. Everyone is welcome and no question is too small!

Get your map on! The GIS Club will be selling maps for cheap to raise funds for the club! Topos 4/$1, folded maps/road maps $1, and books starting at $1, as well as other goodies! If you have any questions, shoot us an email at GISClub@pdx.edu. 

AUCTION: Our auction is launched and open for bids! The auction will close on May 11th at 5PM. Winners must be available to pick up their maps at Cramer Hall by June 16th, 2023. Check it out here!

BUTTON DESIGN CONTEST: See below!

The 2023 GIS Club is holding a button design contest! Buttons will be given out for free at the Map Sale. Designs should be created for a 2" round button and can be emailed as a .jpg to GISClub@pdx.edu. Eligible designs will have "PSU GIS Club" or "Portland State University GIS Club" somewhere on it and will be appropriate for marketing. Multiple entries are a-okay.

The winner will recieve a stylized map of the Portland neighborhoods that is roughly 2' by 2' and must be able to pick it up on the 4th floor of Cramer Hall by the end of the Spring 2023 quarter.

We need volunteers to help day-of with the 2023 Map Sale! This includes helping at the table and greeting non-PSU guests at the door. Shifts are 2 hours from 10-6 and we need 3 volunteers per shift. Volunteers will get light refreshments, topos, and a button for their help! Please sign up here!
