This Privacy Policy explains what data PSL AI collects, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you may have.
### 1.2. Data We Collect
PSL AI may process the following categories of data:
1. **Facial photos and image data**
- Facial photos captured or uploaded by you (for example, front and side angles).
2. **Usage and analytics data**
- Screen views, feature interactions, and technical performance events.
3. **Local app data**
- Onboarding responses, scan history, profile image URI, and exercise/protocol progress data.
4. **Device and technical data**
- Limited technical signals such as app version, device type, and session-level diagnostics.
### 1.3. Why We Process Data
We process data to:
- Generate facial analysis scores, metrics, and recommendations
- Improve app experience and detect issues
- Measure product performance and improve the service
- Support subscription and purchase-related flows when enabled
### 1.4. APIs and Third-Party Services We Use
For transparency, including App Store review purposes, PSL AI uses:
1. **OpenAI API**
- Facial photos are sent to OpenAI to generate analysis results.
- This involves processing by a third-party provider.
2. **PostHog**
- Used for screen and usage analytics.
3. **RevenueCat (subscription infrastructure)**
- May be used for purchases, subscriptions, and restore flows.
- Activated in app versions where subscription features are available.
### 1.5. Data Retention
- Some data is stored locally on your device (for example, scan history and onboarding data).
- Data processed by third-party services is subject to those providers' retention policies.
- Data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time when no longer needed or upon valid request.
### 1.6. Children's Privacy
PSL AI is **not directed to children under 9**. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 9. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the relevant data.
### 1.7. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
### 1.8. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may operate infrastructure in multiple countries. As a result, your data may be processed on servers located outside your country.
### 1.9. Your Rights and Requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request:
- Access to your data
- Correction of your data
- Deletion of your data
- Objection to certain processing

### 1.10. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through in-app notices, release notes, or an updated effective date.
### 1.11. Account Deletion
You can delete your account immediately from within the app by going to **Settings > Account Deletion**.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account-related app data within our control without undue delay.
Some data may still be retained where required by law, needed for fraud prevention/security, or temporarily held by third-party service providers under their own retention policies.
