OUTCOME: the franchise owner/ operator should understand the purpose and importance of an Operations Manual ( i.e. PlayBook ) and have a basic concept of how to navigate the manual to find and use all the information necessary to help in the operations of their franchise.

PREREQUISITES: the franchise owner/ operator would need to complete the Initial Training prior to reading this manual

ABOUT THIS MANUAL

In this PlayBook (a.k.a Franchise Operations Manual) you will find the foundational building blocks necessary for the operations for your franchise business. This manual enables you as the franchise owner/ operator to represent the Premier Sports Leagues Inc. brand consistently and profitably. It also provides clear definition of the franchise business systems, processes, policies, guidelines (commonly known as Standard Operating Procedures), and equips you with the up to date resources, tools and information to properly operate a Premier Sports Leagues franchise.

By investing the necessary time to read and use the content in this PlayBook, not only will you be on your way to building a stronger franchise brand but your existing business will benefit greatly as well.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS PLAYBOOK

As you read through this PlayBook, you will begin to understand the importance of following a system and set of standards. A key factor in building a successful franchise is standardization. Regardless of the franchise location and ownership, standardization ensures customers will always be met with a consistent experience. Regardless of the location of our franchises, whether you’re in Halifax, NS or Victoria, BC standardization allows for the same quality and delivery of our products and services, so customers will always know what to expect when they hear of and see our brand. HOW TO USE THIS PLAYBOOK

This PlayBook is broken into chapters that represent the most common functions in operating a Premier Sports Leagues franchise.

Within each of the chapters there are a number of sub chapters relating to the chapter topic. Clicking on the chapter "box" will redirect you to the sub chapters which will further drill down into more specific content. Some sub chapters will host the content within this PlayBook while others will link to Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides files. These links provide the ability for content/ information to be updated and stay current to better serve our customers needs and to improve upon the franchise operations for the common good of the franchises in the network.

This PlayBook is a 'living and breathing' document. As such, the contents will continue to change over time right along with the standard operating procedures. These changes are all part of growing and building a stronger franchise brand, improving our products and services to better serve our customers/ community and keeping our brand current with the evolving landscape of the organized sports market.

You should regularly revisit and review the PlayBook to familiarize themselves with the updates as they may occur from time to time.

NOTE: This PlayBook (i.e. manual) is confidential and represents many years of investment of finances and time and serves as the intellectual property of Premier Sports Leagues. The PlayBook is only for franchise owners/ operators who have written permission (i.e. signed a Franchise Agreement) and franchise owners / operators agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all such information during the currency of this Agreement or at any time thereafter and shall not disclose any of the contents of the Manual or any information whatsoever.

As the franchise owner/ operators you also understand that you have use and access to this manual (PlayBook) while under a franchise agreement but that this manual is LOANED to franchise owners/ operators and "at all times remain the sole and exclusive property of the Franchisor".

From time to time you, as the franchise owner/ operator, you will reveal part(s) of the information in this PlayBook to staff/ volunteers in order to operate your franchise, however much of the content in this PlayBook is specifically for franchise owners/ operators only and access/ passwords must not be shared with unauthorized person(s). If the content of this PlayBook is freely disclosed and used wrongfully by recipient(s) it can do irrevocable harm to your franchise and other franchisees in the network and possible jeopardize Premier Sports Leagues' brand market position with respect to competitors.

For this and other reason(s) you are required to have proper and legal binding agreements in place with staff, volunteers, suppliers or anyone who regularly uses information from this PlayBook. See ADMINISTRATION & ACCOUNTING for Confidential Employee and Non Disclosure Agreements.
