Townsend Harbor Dam

Twilight colors were beginning to appear when I captured this image. A few inches of fresh snow had fallen the night before. The Squannacook River had nice flows, following recent rains. Townsend Harbor, MA, January, 2022

Gleason Falls

Gleason Falls in Hillsborough, NH, is my favorite area waterfall. Normally the falls have barely a trickle of water flowing by mid-summer. However, the rainy summer of 2021 provided for ample flows. The falls are formed as Beard's Brook tumbles downhill, passing under a stone arch bridge on Beard Road.

Tucker Brook Falls

A friend and I made the short hile into Tucker Brook Falls, in Milford NH, on a winter day in 2019. Mush of the waterfall was encased in ice, but the main portion, captured here, was open and made for a nice photo subject.

Bash Bish Falls 2

Recent rains made for nice flows over Bash Bish falls, in Mt Washington MA, on an April morning in 2022. Soon after I captured this image (using an 85mm lens), all cloud cover disappeared from the sky and the resulting sunlight was too harsh for shooting.

The Falls in Winter

The Falls are a series of cascades in Mason, NH. This image was taken a few days after Christmas, 2021. Rain had recently fallen on top of an earlier snowfall, creating a nice wintery effect.

The Falls Brook had nice flows on the December 2021 morning when I captured this image. The hike of about a mile was well worth it, as the falls were accented with snow and frost, and bushes that obstruct the view in summer had lost their foliage.
