Thank you for participating in our No Kings Day of Action. A core principle of Indivisible is a commitment to non-violent, peaceful action. Bring your signs, come and be joyful with one another while you exercise your First Amendment right.
Please read and follow the rules below to ensure a successful and effective rally.
1. LOOK OUT FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS
It is everyone’s responsibility to consider the safety of the entire group and act accordingly.
2. BE RESPECTFUL
Affirm the dignity of your fellow protesters through kindness and respect. We all have a valid reason for being here today.
3. SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING
Safety comes from the strength of our relationships and our commitment to community.
Report any concerns to an event Helper in a PINK VEST.
4. ZERO ENGAGEMENT
Do not engage in negative behavior, dialog, or debate with others seeking to distract or disrupt our peaceful, non-violent rally.
5. KNOW YOUR LIMITS
Large crowds with lots of noise can be unsettling. Take care of yourself and check in with the folks you came with. Move to the sidelines if you feel overwhelmed. Drink water and eat a snack.
