Call your Republican Representative 

Bentz has yet to make a public statement about the two biggest stories in the news recently. His silence is cowardice. It's also deadly! Call his office or email him and ask that he show some courage and speak up against the illegal and immoral actions of the Trump regime: 

• Annexing Greenland - When the US signs an international treaty, it automatically becomes US Law. To take over Greenland without its permission is a violation of NATO and thus illegal. Cliff Bentz is a lawyer and should understand this basic principle. Some of his GOP colleagues are finally showing a little courage, stating that a hostile takeover of Greenland is an impeachable offense.  Read more here.  

• The killing of Renee Good by an ICE agent - Nine days later and Catholic Cliff hasn't had the guts or decency to make a statement, even though his Catholic leaders have condemned the killing and the increasing violence of ICE. At the very least, the lawyer Cliff should be demanding an investigation. A woman is dead and Trump's DOJ has declined to investigate. As of Tuesday this week, at least 10 federal prosecutors have resigned in protest of the DOJ's refusal to conduct an investigation into this killing, something that would happen automatically in any other law enforcement agency in the country. Cliff Bentz is a lawyer and must know this is a gross failure of the DOJ. Read more here.
