We exist to prevent unnecessary foster care and group home placements, unnecessary juvenile incarcerations and detentions, and child separations of asylum seekers and refugees; and to help the reunification of children with their families when it is in the child's best interest. Our mission is fulfilled through policy and legal advocacy, and by connecting families in need with the social capital necessary to thrive.

We solicit the participation of organizations serving youth and families to join the network so every State and locality has a comprehensive list of providers willing to provide the social capital necessary to help children meet their fullest potential while in the care of their families.

Our mission of eliminating all unnecessary out-of-family placements has never been more important. The Pro.Social Network and our policy and legal advocacy is driven by our ongoing PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN to educate people about the urgent need for child welfare reforms that protect children and their families.
