What is Racism?
Racism is a stronger type of prejudice that refers to feelings of superiority based on biological or racial differences.

For adults:
Physical health (e.g., high blood pressure, inflammation, heart disease, kidney disease, etc.)
Mental health (e.g., depression, stress, emotional distress, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal thoughts)
For children and youth:
Physical health (e.g., mothers who experienced racism are more likely to have babies with a low birth weight, which can cause further health problems for the infants later in life)
Mental health (e.g., PTSD, anxiety, grief, depression)
Have an honest introspection of the possibility that you might hold racial views.
Object to racist jokes and insults.
Examine the historical roots behind racism, which is necessary for understanding and challenging racism.
Respect freedom.
