So, what is EDI and why does it matter?

Diversity is characterized as differences in racial or ethnic origin, skin colour, national or ethnic origin, religion, immigration and newcomer status, ethnicity, ability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, as well as age.
Inclusion is characterized as the process of ensuring that all people are equally supported and recognized for their contributions.
