This training will take approximately 1 hour and the learner should print 6 BIR sample forms to follow along with behavior recording exercises
Working with children in early childhood means that we have the opportunity and the challenge to see social emotional development from a front row seat! We also have the opportunity and challenge to help intervene and improve a child's ability to regulate their behavior and learn strategies to decrease or avoid challenging behaviors.
This training will provide further insight into a new method for us to record behavior incidents, to practice when we would and would not complete a report and how that data can be helpful in planning further interventions.
