These are highlands covered with grasslands intermingled with subtropical (near temperate) forests. Our focal species are the threatened puma and the maned-wolf.
Daily schedule:
1o day - Arrival at the lodging area at the end of the morning. Lunch. Set camp. Preliminary information given and start training on GPS and data sheets during the afternoon. Short walk to test your first skills.
2o - 5o day - Ecological assessment in the area of the park, mainly looking for mammals.
6o day- Morning preparations to return.
At the end of the day all will gather to share their findings and record in maps and in the computer.

The park is located at the foothill of the highlands, covered with submontane tropical rainforest. Our focal species are the threatened puma and the several small wild felids that inhabit the area.
