The project is currently looking for someone aspiring to become a Vtuber in Malaysia! Just to clarify, even if you are not interested in Vtubers in general, if you would like to try streaming and create content, you are also welcome to apply if you don't mind the Vtuber aspect.

Someone that needs support, expertise, funding and a motivator, look no further as this is your chance!

How can I trust you? Who are you anyway?

I am just a random Malaysian otaku, just like most of the people, I wouldn’t say I am experience nor that I claim that I can guarantee your success, we will start from zero with many trial and errors, if you expect agency levels of support with guaranteed success from the get go, I am afraid I am not up for the job. Please find another person, project or a proper agency.

However, I do have a rough plan for a possible sustainable business, knowledge with Vtubers from big to small, experience handling a clipping and translation channel for Vtuber, providing basic logos and art asset for small independent vtuber, and a passion for the job.

I don't have any notable achievements but I was the one behind "Belmond fan subs(unofficial)", a clipping channel mainly focusing on Belmond Banderas from Nijisanji. The channel was rebranded to Kurogitsune Translations later and went in hiatus due to busy work life.

I also had experience in making some free logos and art asset for small independant Vtubers to support them and also practice my designing skills.

It is not the best thing ever, but at least it is an alternative free option to help reduce cost before the project starts to generate income.

Regarding the vtuber project direction

Actually the Project Yoakeboshi is not the actual name for the Vtuber project, the Vtuber project is under the Project Yoakeboshi with no name being decided, the actual group name, characters and much more details will be decided later with our first generation talents, making sure characters are not forced upon and they themself actually can resonate with the character and group. Thus you can say that the first generation is really crucial for us as it could influence how the project will move forward.

This Vtuber project is aimed to be a mix of male and female talent.

Contents are based on each talent's preference, you can choose your focus.
However, outside of your usual streaming there will be project planned contents like Vlogs, collabs, talk shows, quiz, game shows. Of course, the project will help with the idea, planning and preparation to lessen burden of our talents. If you are the type that likes to plan content similar to variety shows, it is aligned with the project's direction.

Time commitment

I do not plan or recommend to fully commit time for early stage, as only a fraction of Vtubers actually are able to sustain their vtuber life, and only a hand full actually profit from it. It is best if you are a working adult with proper income and treat this project as part-time or past time if you enjoy streaming.

We wont force a weekly minimum but it is preferred if you could at least have time for 1 stream per week, if you suddenly became busy or have emergencies or would like a break, it is understandable and will be approved. Mental health is important.

Revenue distribution & IP Ownership

The details will be discussed in detail during trial period before any official agreement been made.

We fully understand how talents are important for the project and we will make sure to have a fair deal that both parties are able to agree on. The project is unable to guarantee a minimum wage at early stage, but if really required the project will try to secure the funding for it.

Of course, the project would not fully rely on talents to make the due, the project will do it’s best to market the talent to attract sponsors, events, merch, collaborations, to ensure both the creator and project is able to survive.

But there is one thing I could guarantee as the project owner is that I would like to maintain a healthy relationship and ensuring talents are doing well enough to feel that it is worthwhile to stay in this project.

Long term commitment

Very few are able to sustain their livelihood solely relying on being a Vtuber, it is a long term commitment and very risky but the project will not be abandoned easily just because of the lows. This Vtuber project(tentative) is just the first phase of the project, but it is also the most crucial step, I am fully committed to make this successful. At the point which you are being selected, the project do what ever possible to support and grow together.

The project will move towards the new phase to further adding value to the project, ONLY AFTER ensuring everything is going smoothly.

Regarding the Vtuber design, character and lore

The character will be tailored made to suit the soul, which we will decide before debut. For those who have a clear idea or preference you are welcome to voice your opinion. For those who don't have a clear direction, we will decide it together.
