Now that students have researched their topic and formed a well-rounded understanding it is time to tell folks about it. This will be a TED TALK-like presentation teaching everyone about their topic. This could take a variety of forms:
Traditional TED TALK: This would be a short live presentation around your topic. It will inform the audience of the topic and explain why it is important and what we can do about it.
Recorded Multimodal Presentation: Build a slideshow and record it with voice-over to share with the audience.
To accompany their talk students can provide an optional slide show to have in the background or a static backdrop as they present.
Things to consider
Audience-Who are you speaking to?
Pace- Are you speaking too fast? Too slow?
Performance- What should you emphasize?
Entertain- What are you adding to the performance to engage the audience?
Students can submit alternative methods of delivery if they have an idea.
