Since the early 1960s, the Neenah Animal Shelter has been a staple in the tight-knit Neenah community. Its work fostering and harboring at-risk animals in the area has been described as “extraordinary, amazing, and life-saving”. That is one of many reasons why Project Highlight has chosen to shine a light on this remarkable nonprofit organization which has worked to rescue, rehab, and find new loving families for the most vulnerable animals in the Fox Valley. Those interested in helping out this shelter can do a great deal, including adopting from a shelter, donating, and volunteering with the over 80 animals living in this shelter.
