Meet the Project Highlight Team
Ava Bergstrom
Ava is a student at St. Mary Catholic High School. She has always had an amazing passion for art and enjoys working with many different mediums. Ava also enjoys science, staying on top of current events, tennis, traveling and playing her steel drum. Ava has always had a heart for helping others and volunteering. She is eccentric, witty, interesting, and a good motivator! She is always looking for ways to add fun in anything she does through her amazing attitude and quirky sense of humor. She is looking forward to learning more through this project and how it can impact others!
Ellie Dewitt
Ellie is a student at St. Mary Catholic High School. She loves volleyball, math, science, and traveling. Ellie was honored to be captain of her volleyball team, and loved every second of it! She also has a passion for acting and has been in numerous musicals (16 in counting). Ellie is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this amazing project! She can’t wait to see where it will go and how it will flourish!
Camille Dinka
Camille is a bright, caring student at St. Mary Catholic High School. She never turns down a friend in need and would do anything for them. She is a hard worker and loves science, running, and spending time with her family and friends. When she grows up, Camille wants to be a newscaster on Good Morning America. Camille is also part of St. Mary Central’s track and cross-country team. She never gives up on something she feels strongly about and is a wonderful motivator. Camille is very excited and grateful to help her community through Project Highlight!
Taylor Gustafson
Taylor is a student at St. Mary Catholic High School. She is always willing to learn something new and is motivated to help others! Her favorite subject is Global Studies, but she will never say no to a good book. Taylor is part of many leadership and service clubs including Key Club, Best Friends, Mock Trial, and is Student Council Secretary. She has a passion for horses, has two named Staccato and Early, and is well-known to never stop talking about them. She is enthusiastic to be part of this project, and how it will be fostered in her community!
Peyton Schroeder
Peyton is a student at St. Mary Catholic High School. She loves animals, rock collecting, archery, and traveling. She is an assistant coach for 3rd-grade basketball and Girls on the Run. She loves helping people, but she certainly has a passion for caring for animals as well. Peyton is extremely excited to be asked to help with this project and thought it is an outstanding idea. She can’t wait to see where it goes and hopes that it will greatly benefit the community and the people in it!
Anna Vanden Acker
Anna is a student at St. Mary Catholic High School. She loves cats, music (specifically k-pop), tennis, and she loves to read. She has two cats. Anna was incredibly excited to learn she made varsity tennis as a freshman. She played 4 singles and won her conference. Overall the team won the conference and finished with a record of 55-1. She also placed third at sectionals. She is very excited to be involved in this project. She thinks it is an amazing thing and hopes it will bring awareness to the fantastic organizations in the Fox Valley.
Spencer Jones
Spencer is the high school choir director at St. Mary Catholic High School. He loves to help people reach their goals and chase his passions to the max. Spencer loves the outdoors and created a video series called the “Jonesin for Mini-Series” that showcasing our amazing waterways and outdoor areas. In addition to the mini-series, he has written two books about kayak fishing, does motivational speaking, and is energized by seeing people live their life to the max.
